Truvelle, a Vancouver based wedding designer has captured our hearts with her incredible wedding gowns topped in sequins or dip-dyed in indigo and recently their creative director Gay Bayona collaborated with friend and filmmaker Mehdi Nowroozi to create a video showcasing their gowns in a whimsical and fresh manner. I won't say much about it as I want you to see and experience it all yourself firsthand.
"As a filmmaker, I just want to do something original, something people will immediately recognize as fresh, I want people to be hypnotized and mystified," Mehdi says. The team filmed in the wilds of Lower Mainland, BC. Mehdi says, "Mannequin is an 8 minute adventure fantasy fashion film showcasing Truvelle's 2015 collection. A lot of my thinking has gravitated towards mannequins - it's been my artistic motif for the past 2 years. When Truvelle approached me asking if I'd be interested in coming up with a film for their 2015 dress collection, I knew where to start."
